HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Was a four time FHSAA finalist, and earned All-American Consideration in the 400 Free Relay…Also a four time YMCA Nationals finalist, as well as a USA Futures qualifier…At Suncoast Polytechnical, was a member of the National Honor Society, earned the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, was in the Practical Nursing Program, and was a four time Scholar Athlete.
PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 7…Daughter of Ivan Lozano and Diane Lai…Has two siblings, Gabi and Belle…Undecided on a major, but wants to become a pilot…Has a highly diverse background, as she is part Chinese, Japanese, Peruvian, and Italian…Is a pro origami maker…Lists her greatest individual moment as when she made the YMCA Nationals in the 200 fly and her greatest team moment as team won a championship at YMCA Nationals…Hobbies include traveling and going to the beach…Chose the Academy because “I wanted to give back to the country that provided so much for my family when they moved to the U.S.”
