HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-time letterwinner at Windsor High School under Head Coach Monte Truste as a Wizard…Won three State Championships, while placing third in his other state tournament appearance…Was also a Southern Plains Regional Freestyle Champion, as well as a USAW Folkstyle Nationals placer…Attended the USAFA Prep School.
PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 21…Son of Kelli and Ben VomBaur…Father was a two-time All-American at Boise State, and later coached at Wyoming and Northern Colorado, while his mother was a gymnast at Boise State…Has two brothers, Vance and Drake, and one sister, Liliya…Majoring in management with a minor in economics…Was born in Boise, Idaho…Credits his father and high school coach as having the greatest impact on his wrestling career.
