Boys Basketball (Session 1: June 8-13; Session 2: June 15-20; Session 3: June 23-25) Basketball Players and Parents (ages 8-18)
Thank you for considering the Air Force Basketball Camp this summer! Our camps are designed to not only help our campers better understand the concepts of the game of basketball, but to also master the concepts needed to be successful in life. We can guarantee you that any child that comes to one our camps will leave having worked with a staff that is dedicated to helping them have fun while learning the finer points of the game. The Air Force Academy basketball program has enjoyed national success over the past several years. This success is grounded in individual skill development and unselfish team play. Dribbling, passing, shooting and defense are the focus of our daily individual instruction, while screening, cutting, and playing together are the cornerstones of team play.
Our staff will emphasize these principles every day while monitoring each camper as they participate in a number of individual and team competitions throughout the course of the week. During team play, each team will be coached by one of our first-rate counselors, ensuring that the concepts stressed throughout the week are incorporated into their games. Items you will need to bring to camp are: basketball shoes, shorts, t-shirts or tank tops and extra pairs of socks. We highly encourage you to not bring valuables like jewelry or watches.
Each day will run from 8:30am to 4:30pm with the exception of Friday, which will conclude with an awards and recognition ceremony which will begin at 11am.
