Team Notes
ÃÆ'à € 'à ‚¬ ' ¢' ¬ ¢ Air Force uses game captains. The captains for the San Diego State game were Andre Morris, Jr., Bradley Connor, A.J. Wallerstein and Jonathan Warzeka.
ÃÆ'à € 'à ‚¬ ' ¢' ¬ ¢ Air Force has scored in a school-record 214 consecutive games dating back to the 1992 Liberty Bowl. The streak is the fourth longest active streak in the nation and 15th longest streak in NCAA history.
ÃÆ'à € 'à ‚¬ ' ¢' ¬ ¢ Air Force is now 4-1 this season and 20-4 under head coach Troy Calhoun when the team has a 100-yard rusher. Asher Clark did the honors with 116 yards.
ÃÆ'à € 'à ‚¬ ' ¢' ¬ ¢ The 27 points allowed ties a season high, also done by Oklahoma and Colorado State.
Individual Notes
ÃÆ'à € 'à ‚¬ ' ¢' ¬ ¢ Senior DB Reggie Rembert recorded his third interception of the season, which leads the team. The interception is the ninth of his career which leads all active players. The turnover is his fifth of the season (3 INT, 1 FF, 1 FR) and 19th of his career (9 INT, 5 FF, 5FR).
ÃÆ'à € 'à ‚¬ ' ¢' ¬ ¢ Senior TE Chaz Demerath recorded his first catch of the game in the second quarter to mark his fifth straight game with at least one catch. Demerath has a catch in six of seven games this season. Demerath also set a career high with four receptions, surpassing his previous high of three vs. Navy this year.
ÃÆ'à € 'à ‚¬ ' ¢' ¬ ¢ Junior PK Erik Soderberg kicked two field goals (25, 30), which marks his first multi-field goal game of the season. His 30-yard field goal is a season long. (20, 25, 29, 30).
ÃÆ'à € 'à ‚¬ ' ¢' ¬ ¢ Junior WR Jonathan Warzeka recorded a career high in catches with five, which is the most by a Falcon this season, and in yards with 55. His previous highs were three catches for 48 yards earlier this season vs. Oklahoma. ÃÆ'à € 'à ‚¬ ' ¢' ¬ ¢ Junior RB Asher Clark recorded his second-straight 100-yard rushing game of the season with 116 yards on 19 carries. The 100-yard game is his third this season and seventh of his career. Clark also had 100-yard games vs. BYU (121) and Colorado State (125) earlier this season.
ÃÆ'à € 'à ‚¬ ' ¢' ¬ ¢ Junior QB Tim Jefferson set a career high with 30 pass attempts and 13 completions. His previous high was 12 completions on 20 attempts vs. BYU in 2008.
ÃÆ'à € 'à ‚¬ ' ¢' ¬ ¢ Senior linebacker Patrick Hennessey set a career high with a team-high nine tackles.
ÃÆ'à € 'à ‚¬ ' ¢' ¬ ¢ Sophomore wide receiver Brandon Hirneise recorded his first-career catch.
