Team Notes
- Air Force uses game captains. The captains for the Colorado State game were Sean Quintana, Ben Garland, Brandon Geyer and Nick Charles.
- Air Force extended its school-record consecutive games scoring streak to 203 games dating back to 1992. The streak is the fourth longest active streak in the country. The 203-game streak is the 15th longest in NCAA history.
- Air Force scored a touchdown on its opening drive of the game for the third time this season and first time since the New Mexico game on Sept. 19. The score is Air Force's fourth overall on the opening drive this season and marks the second straight week with a score (FG at Utah).
- Air Force's 14 points in the first quarter are its most in any quarter since scoring 17 in the first quarter at New Mexico on Sept. 19, which was 19 quarters ago.
- Air Force's 34 points is the second most in a conference game this season and most since scoring 37 at New Mexico.
- Air Force improves to 5-4 overall and 4-2 in the Mountain West Conference.
- The Falcons improved to 15-7 in conference games since 2007, including a 7-4 mark in conference road games.
- Air Force improved to 28-19-1 all-time in the series with Colorado State. The Falcons are 12-8 in Fort Collins and have now won four straight and five of the last six in the series. The win also marks the first time since 1989 and 1991 that Air Force has won back-to-back game at Colorado State.
- Air Force retains the Ram-Falcon Trophy and improved to 17-13 overall in Ram-Falcon Trophy competition.
- Air Force improved to 11-4 since 2007 in games during the second half of the season (last six games). The Falcons are 2-1 this season. Air Force was 12-24 in the second half of the season the six years combined prior to 2007.
- Air Force finished 2-2 this season in the conference games in the month of October. The Falcons are 7-3 overall in conference games in October over the last three years.
- Air Force's 382 total yards are the third most this season and most since getting 386 at New Mexico.
- Air Force rushed for 271 yards and has our-rushed all nine opponents this season.
- Air Force head coach Troy Calhoun improved to 22-13 overall, 15-7 in MWC games, 9-7 in road games and 3-0 vs. Colorado State.
- Air Force improved to 325-273-13 in its 54th season of varsity football. The Falcons won their 150th road game and are now 150-160-10 all-time in road games.
- Air Force improved to 41-39 in Mountain West Conference games. The team is 17-23 on the road. Air Force is 71-58 overall since joining the MWC, including a 27-30 mark on the road.
- Air Force improved to 4-1 this season and 14-4 under Troy Calhoun when leading at halftime. The team improved to 5-0 this season and 14-2 under Calhoun when the team scores first.
- Sophomore QB Tim Jefferson matched his career-high with two touchdown passes. He matched his previous high which came against Colorado State last season. His first touchdown pass was his first since the Minnesota game on Sept. 12. The touchdown pass is the first by an Air Force quarterback since the New Mexico game on Sept. 19. Jefferson finished with 111 yards passing which marks his third 100-plus yard passing effort of the season.
- Junior WR Kyle Halderman scored his first touchdown of the season on an eight-yard TD catch on Air Force's opening drive. Halderman later added his first rushing touchdown of the season.
- Sophomore RB Asher Clark rushed for 75 yards. Clark became the 35th player in Air Force history to rush for 1,000 or more yards and now has 1,047 for his career which ranks 34th in school history. Clark also recorded a season-long 31-yard run.
- Junior RB Jared Tew scored a touchdown on Air Force's second drive to mark his third straight game with a touchdown run. Tew finished the game with a team-best 87 yards rushing.
- Sophomore SPC Erik Soderberg kicked a career-best 50 yard field goal in the second quarter. His previous best was 48 yards, done twice this year. He later added a 30-yard field goal which marks the seventh straight field goal he's made this season. Soderberg has kicked at least one field goal in every game this season and has 19 this season which ties as the second most in a single-season in school history. His 24 attempts are tied as the seventh most.
- Sophomore WR Jonathan Warzeka recorded his first-career touchdown catch. The touchdown is his third this season and third different way he has scored. Warzeka also has rushing and passing touchdowns.
- Junior DB Reggie Rembert recorded his third interception of the season and sixth of his career. He is the active career leader in interceptions at Air Force.
