Highlighted by a career-best 60-assist performance against San Jose State, Keltner recorded 100 assists over the weekend to become just the fourth setting in program history to surpass the 3,400-assist mark in a career. The 60 assists are the most in a single Air Force match since 2005, when Carly Siefken accounted for 61. It was also just the second time since 2003 that an Air Force setter has reached the 60-assist mark.
The senior set the Falcons to a .350 hitting performance during the thrilling 25-18, 34-32, 30-32, 25-16 win over San Jose State and recorded her seventh double-double of the season (32nd of career) with a 40-assist, 14-dig outing in the five-set comeback win over Nevada (17-25, 21-25, 25-18, 25-23, 15-12).
Ranked second in the conference with an 11.06 per-set average, Keltner holds the two highest single-match performances in the Mountain West (60 at San Jose State, 56 at Texas Tech). She also added six kills, 21 digs, her first solo block of the year and one assisted block during the first week of conference action.
Keltner shared the athletic department's weekly honor with senior Kylie Williamson of the women's soccer team, which also opened their conference slate with a 2-0 record.
The Falcons return to action this Thursday (Oct. 2), when they host Boise State at 6:00 p.m.
