Jan. 4, 2002
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Air Force athletic department, in conjunction with the FANSonly Network, has launched an online auction through the school's official athletic website at www.airforcesports.com.
A member of the Internet's top-rated college sports site, the FANSonly Network (www.fansonly.com), Air Force's official athletic website (www.airforcesports.com) provides Air Force fans with complete information on all Falcons varsity sports.
Included on the popular site are audio and video clips, game coverage, pictures and interactive promotions and games. The online auction currently features two items: an Air Force vs. Oklahoma football game football signed by Coach DeBerry and Coach Stoops, and a football autographed by Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Lee Corso - ESPN Game Day.
"We are thrilled to offer Air Force fans the opportunity to bid on Air Force athletic memorabilia," said Jeff Cravens, FANSonly Network's Vice President and General Manager.
All auction items will be sent directly from the athletic department and are guaranteed authentic. All payments will be handled through Air Force Athletics. Taxes and shipping charges will be added to each winning bid. A representative of the University will contact auction winners.
The FANSonly Network is currently the fastest-growing college sports site on the web. It provides online brand management and content delivery to more than 100 university athletic departments in the country, through the publishing of Official Athletic Sites for each university. FANSonly.com serves as the network hub, providing comprehensive information on collegiate sports, including in-depth statistical packages and analysis, information on collegiate recruiting, and team pages on every NCAA Division I school, which complements and accentuates the individual Official Athletic Sites. In addition to breaking news and complete sports coverage, FANSonly provides its users with interactive games and contests that capitalize on the strong affinity of the college sports fan.
