Gridiron Reunion
The Athletic Department Letter Winners' Group cordially invites you to attend the second annual Falcon Football Alumni Reunion. Your participation will make the 2002 reunion even more fun and exciting than the 2001 event. The reunion will take place from 26-28 April 2002 and will be held in conjunction with the spring Blue and Silver scrimmage game.
The Wyndham Hotel has agreed to be our host hotel. They have offered a special $79/night room rate. Please call the Wyndham directly for your room reservations. Their number is 719-260-1800. Tell them that you are part of the Falcon Football Reunion.
Specific events will include:
Friday, 26 April
6 PM--a no-host social at the Wyndham
Saturday, 27 April
9:30 AM at the Field House--Those young/young-at-heart/physically fit enough can participate in the "geezer" rendition of the Blue Silver Game. Larry Fariss ('75 Team Captain) will lead you through the drills and game.
NOON--The Blue Silver Game kick off. Festivities for the Blue and Silver scrimmage include an introduction of the alumni present.
6 PM at the Wyndham-- We will reconvene at for cocktails, followed by a sit down dinner. In addition to real music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's, we will be showing at "Old Timer's" films.
Sunday, 28 April
We will reserve tee times on Sunday for those of you wishing to play a round of golf at the Eisenhower Course.
The registration fee for reunion will be $40/person. The fee includes both the Friday and Saturday activities. Greens fees are additional and you pay the Eisenhower Golf Course folks directly when you show up.
Please send your RSVP as soon as possible. If you have already sent a reply, please confirm. If you have not replied, please do so.
It is important that you provide your name, address and phone number (for our Letter Winners' Database), the days you will be here, the number of guests, and whether or not you are interested in playing golf on Sunday. Also please let your teammates know about the reunion.
