Miles Mathieu is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of the Air Force Academy Athletic Corporation (AFAAC). He provides day-to-day guidance to many of the revenue-generating functions of a $25M enterprise and ensures compliance with federal code, non-profit standards, and GAAP auditability. As a retired USAF officer, he also helps navigate the sometimes challenging relationships with on-base support agencies.
Prior to acquiring this dual role in 2016, Mathieu served as the AFAAC's Chief Financial Officer from June 2014 after his retirement from the Air Force. On active duty, Mathieu served in a variety of financial management and international relations roles at the joint, major command, and wing levels to include two comptroller squadron command positions and numerous contingency deployments.
Mathieu earned a bachelor of science degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1995. He holds a master of science in management from Troy State University and a master of arts in security studies from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Married to the former Audrey Allcorn, also a 1995 U.S. Air Force Academy graduate, they have four children: Ainsley, Erickson, Kitty, and Penelope.
