Nick Arseniak came to the Academy as an assistant SID in the fall of 2003. He is the primary contact for Air Force women’s basketball, women’s soccer and men’s and women’s fencing, and a secondary contact for football.
During his tenure at Air Force, Arseniak has also worked with baseball, men’s soccer, men’s and women’s swimming and diving and wrestling.
Prior to USAFA, Arseniak completed an internship at the University of Kansas during the 2002-03 season. At Kansas, Arseniak was the primary contact for women’s soccer and softball and assisted with KU football, women’s basketball and the national runner-up men’s basketball team.
His sports information experience dates back to 2000, beginning as a student at UC Santa Barbara, where he worked with the Gaucho water polo, swimming and baseball programs from 2000-02. Arseniak also interned in the community relations department with the San Jose Earthquakes of the MLS during the summer of 2001, assisting with the 2001 MLS All-Star game, which was held at Spartan Stadium.
Arseniak is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA). He is a 2002 graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a degree in global & international studies with minors in Japanese and sports management. Prior to UCSB, Arseniak spent two years at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill, Calif., where he played both baseball and football for the Vikings.
The Walnut Creek, Calif., native resides in Colorado Springs with wife, Lauren and are proud parents of two daughters.
