USAFA Celebrates Title IX at 50
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Title IX and Air Force Athletics will be celebrating with a series of video interviews with women's head coaches.
Title IX states, "No person in the United States shall, based on sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance." Title IX has had far-reaching impacts across the education landscape, but it is perhaps most famous for its role in the advancement of women's sports.
