HIGH SCHOOL: Galena High School…two-time Nevada Gatorade Athlete of the Year…five-time Nevada 5A champion…back-to-back state champion in cross country (2021, 2022)…never finished lower than second at the state cross country meet…swept the 1600-meter and 3200-meter titles at the state track and field championships as a freshman, sophomore, and senior…also won the 800-meter run as a sophomore…state runner-up in the 1600-meter and 3200-meter distances as a junior…two-time FootLocker finalist…four-year varsity letterwinner…member of the USA Triathlon High School Development Team…also competed in club swimming, mountain biking, and road biking while in high school…member of the National Honor Society…graduated with a weighted GPA of 5.353 (3.928 unweighted)…ranked 11th out of 306 students in graduating class.
