JUNIOR YEAR | 2023: Competed in six meets…member of the Falcons’ postseason lineup…first-team all-conference honoree…posted a career-best 8K time of 23:41.2 to finish seventh at the Mountain West Championships…placed within the top half of the 8K fields at the Virginia Invitational (24:25.7, 101st) and Nuttycombe Invitational (24:34.5, 132nd)…Falcons’ No. 5 runner at the NCAA Championships…clocked a 10K time of 30:44.8 to finish 122nd out of 254 runners and help the men to a 12th-place team finish…posted a career-best time of 30:24.4 during 10K debut at the NCAA Mountain Regional, finishing 48th of 123 runners…opened the season with a fourth-place, five-mile time of 26:00 at the Air Force Classic…received the team’s Most Improved award…academic all-conference.
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2022: Raced in four meets…clocked a career-best 8K time of 24:46.7 to finish 15th out of 323 runners at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational…helped Air Force to a runner-up finish as the team’s No. 4 runner…also a member of the scoring lineup that won the Trojan Invitational…clocked a time of 25:08.1 to finish 19th out of 109 runners at that meet…placed ninth out of 111 runners after posting a 26:14.9 finish at the UCCS Open…opened the season with a four-mile time of 20:31 at the Air Force Classic (11th)…academic all-conference selection…Mountain West Scholar-Athlete.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2021: Competed in three meets…made collegiate debut at the Air Force Open (22:009.4, 19th)…posted a personal-best 8K time of 26:20.9 at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational (69th)…added a 33rd-place finish at the UCCS Open (27:38.2)…academic all-conference selection…Mountain West Scholar-Athlete.
MAJOR TRACK AND FIELD HIGHLIGHTS: Two-time NCAA Qualifier in the 3000-meter steeplechase…earned all-conference honors in that event as a junior after finishing third at the Mountain West Outdoor Championships…recorded the fifth-fastest time in Academy history (8:46.22) to win the Stanford Invitational in 2024…led off the all-conference distance medley relay that placed second at the MW Indoor Championships that year...two-time selection to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Madrid High School…claimed three event titles at the Iowa 1A State Championships as senior, winning the 800-meter, 1600-meter and 3200-meter events…placed third at the state cross country championships as a junior…helped cross country team to three-straight state title.
