JUNIOR YEAR | 2025: Raced in two meets…led Air Force to the team title at the Ted Castaneda Classic…posted a career-best 8K time of 25:05.4 to finish second out of 52 runners at that meet…added a 25:34.6 finish to placed 36th out of 316 runners at the Woody Greeno / Jay Dirksen Invitational.
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2024: Did not compete.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2023: Competed in two Colorado-based meets…made collegiate debut at the Roadrunner Invitational, posting an 8K time of 28:31.88 to finish 80th at that meet…recorded a career-best time of 28:14.4 at the UCCS Open (79th).
HIGH SCHOOL: Alamo Heights High School…first member of the AHHS men’s team to qualify to the Texas state championships in the mile…also ran on the school’s first state-qualifying 4x400-meter relay…that relay also became the first to average a sub-50…member of the first Alamo Heights’ team to make consecutive state meet appearances in cross county…ran on the team that became the school’s first to qualify both a boys and girls team to the state championship…deleted 22 seconds from his 1600-meter time during his senior year, finishing with a 4:17 career best…avid band kid…primarily played quads in the drumline…member of the National Honor Society…ranked 80th out of 410 in graduating class.
PERSONAL: Full name is Joseph William White…son of William and Shelley White…father is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy…has two older brothers…majoring in management…would like to become a distance coach in the future…named to the Dean’s List and Athletic Director’s List…has a cousin who competed on the Navy cross country team…also has two cousins that attended the U.S. Military Academy…started a rock band called The Rovers in high school…would like to thank Kenny and Bobby for “making me so fast”…member of Cadet Squadron 37.
