HIGH SCHOOL: Tuscarora High School…earned runner-up honors in the 3200-meter run at the Virginia High School League Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field State Championships as a senior…also finished fifth at the VHSL state cross country championships that year…member of the team that won the 2023 outdoor state title…also ran on the 2021 and 2022 cross country teams that finished third at the state championships…claimed nine varsity letters, including four in outdoor track…member of the National Honor Society, National French Honor Society, and Math National Honor Society…served as treasurer of the Science National Honor Society…received the Seal of Biliteracy in French…attended the Virginia Governor’s French Academy…class valedictorian.

PERSONAL: Full name is Michaela Lee Workman…daughter of Michael Reddy and Shannon Workman…mother attended the U.S. Naval Academy and served as a Naval officer for 26 years, while father was enlisted in the Navy for 26 years…is an only child…currently undecided on a major, but minoring in French…looking at attending pilot training after graduation…hobbies include running, hiking, biking, and spending time outdoors…loves learning about French language and culture…member of Cadet Squadron 37.
