JUNIOR YEAR | 2025: Raced in four meets, including the conference championships…placed within the top half of the field at the Bill Dellinger Invitational…opened the season with a fifth-place outing at the Air Force Classic.

SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2024: Competed in four meets…finished 36th out of 107 runners at the Colorado Springs XC Open…helped Air Force to a top-10 team finish at the Woody Greeno / Jay Dirksen Invitational…made collegiate debut at the Air Force Classic.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2023: Did not compete.

MAJOR TRACK AND FIELD HIGHLIGHTS: NCAA Qualifier in the 1500-meter run as a junior…member of two all-Mountain West distance medley relay teams…recorded the fourth-fastest 1500-meter run in Air Force history (4:17.48a) at the 2026 Doug Max Invitational…also ran Air Force Top 10 times in the 800-meter run during both the indoor (2:10.25a, No. 5) and outdoor (2:09.17, No. 8) seasons as a junior…member of two record-setting 4x800-meter relay teams (2024 Drake Relays, 2026 Drake Relays)…also anchored the sprint medley relay that posted the second-fastest time in Air Force history at the 2024 meet.

HIGH SCHOOL: Dutchtown High School…four-time Louisiana state 800-meter champion…won both the Division I indoor and 5A outdoor as a junior and senior…finished third in both championships as a sophomore…six-time all-state selection (three indoors, three outdoors)…three-time all-metro honoree in outdoor track and field…set the state’s outdoor class and composite record in the 800-meter run (2:11.75)…also set the Indoor State Championship Meet Record in that event at 2:14.50…school record holder as a sophomore…also lettered three years in cross country…named to the all-academic teams for both cross country and track & field as a senior…two-time AP Scholar…Student of the Year finalist in 2022…graduated with a weighted 4.4 GPA.

PERSONAL: Full name is Rachel Elizabeth Fereday…daughter of Thomas and Laura Fereday…father was a member of the football team at LSU…has two older brothers – Mason, a 2020 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, who commissioned as a cryptologic warfare officer, and Jacob, who is currently attending Memphis Law School…also has one younger brother…majoring in geospatial science…future plans include working in the intelligence field…named to the Dean’s List and Athletic Director’s List…currently serving as the A1 Division Chief…most important things are faith and family…hobbies include hiking, rock climbing, playing guitar and piano, painting, cooking, and reading…favorite music is classic rock…served as the Athletics Officer for the Executioners squadron during Basic Cadet Training over the summer, assisting squadron staff and leading the daily PT sessions…also served as the social media manager for Falcon Sports Camps…member of Cadet Squadron 02.
