SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2025: Competed in six meets, including all three postseason events…Falcons’ No. 3 runner at the NCAA Mountain Regional, finishing 29th behind a 10K time of 31:03.09…added a 32:20.7 finish at the NCAA Championships…member of Air Force’s top five in all three 8K events…Falcons’ No. 2 finisher at the Bill Dellinger Invitational…used a time of 23:37.3 to finish 10th in the 89-runner meet…recorded a personal-best 8K time of 23:27.6 to finish 17th out of 91 runners at the conference meet…placed within the top half of the field at the Gans Creek Classic (24:00.3, 122nd)…opened the season with a five-mile time of 25:39.5 at the Air Force Classic.

FRESHMAN YEAR | 2024: Earned the team’s Newcomer of the Year award…competed in four meets, including the conference and regional championships…Falcons’ top finisher at the Woody Greeno / Jay Dirksen Invitational…clocked an 8K time of 25:10.2 to finish 12th out of 246 runners and lead Air Force to a third-place finish…posted a career-best time of 24:49.2 at Pre-Nationals…member of Air Force’s scoring lineup in both postseason races…recorded a time of 25:47.9 to finish 39th at the Mountain West Championships…clocked a time of 30:58.6 in 10K debut to finish 66th at the NCAA Mountain Regional.

MAJOR TRACK AND FIELD HIGHLIGHTS: Two-time NCAA Qualifier in the 1500-meter run (2025, 2026)…holds Air Force’s Freshman and Sophomore Class Records in the 1500-meter, 3000-meter, and 5000-meter distances…ranked among the program’s all-time top 10 for 5000 meters (13:36.91a, indoors, No. 3), 1500 meters (3:40.01a, No. 4) and 3000 meters (7:55.12a, No. 9).

HIGH SCHOOL: Olentangy Orange High School…three-time OHSAA all-state honoree in the 3200-meter run…also ran on two 4x800-meter relays that captured all-state honors…regional champion at 3200 meters as a senior...member of the 4x800-meter relay that claimed the regional title as a sophomore…earned four varsity letters…high school career-bests include a 1:56 for 800 meters, 4:12 for 1600 meters, and 9:05 for 3200 meters.

PERSONAL: Full name is Saketh Surya Varma Rudraraju…nickname is “Unc”…son of Surya and Vijaya Rudraraju…has one younger brother…majoring in electrical and computer engineering…named to the Athletic Director’s List…currently serving in Standardization and Evaluation…traveled to Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., over the summer for Operation Air Force…member of Cadet Squadron 19.
