JUNIOR YEAR | 2025: Competed at the conference and regional championships…member of the Falcons’ scoring lineup in both meets…posted a personal-best 6K time of 21:18.2 to finish 39th out of 107 runners at the Mountain West Championships…helped Air Force to a third-place finish at that meet…recorded a 22:31.3 finish at the NCAA Mountain Regional (74th).
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2024: Raced in four meets…Air Force’s top finisher at the Ted Castaneda Classic, posting a career-best 6K time of 22:50.9 to finish 10th out of 96 runners…Falcons’ No. 2 finisher at the Woody Greeno / Jay Dirksen Invitational…clocked a 5K time of 19:08.9 to finish 48th out of 237 runners at that meet…also ran the 6K at Pre-Nationals (22:54.5, 151st)…opened the season with a seventh-place finish at the Air Force Classic after posting a three-time time of 18:43.8.
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2023: Competed in the Air Force Classic, clocking a three-mile time of 20:08 to finish 13th.
MAJOR TRACK & FIELD HIGHLIGHTS: Earned all-conference honors in the distance medley relay after leading off the team that placed third at the 2026 Mountain West Indoor Championships….recorded the fourth-fastest mile in Air Force history (4:48.75a) at that meet…also ranked among the program’s top 10 for 1500-meter run (5:22.82a, No. 8 all-time).
HIGH SCHOOL: Louden Valley High School…earned all-state, all-region, and all-district honors in cross country during every competitive season (missed sophomore year due to pandemic cancellation)…member of the team that finished 10th at the 2019 Nike XC Nationals…earned All-South Region honors after finishing 26th at the Footlocker/East Bay South XC Regionals as a junior…earned first-team All-Met honors in cross country by the Washington Post…two-time first-team All-RunWashington selection…two-time first-team All Lo-Co honoree in outdoor track…all-state, all-region, and all-district honors in the 3200-meter and 1600-meter events at the Virginia 4A state indoor and outdoor championships as a junior…two-time Top 25 finisher in the two-mile run at the New Balance Indoor Track Nationals…member of the National Honor Society…served as Service Chair as a senior…AP Scholar, with Honors…graduated with a 4.3 GPA…worked on the school’s SAGA Yearbook that was awarded a “Trophy Class” national ranking…also worked on the school newspaper (Viking News) that was awarded the First Amendment Freedom Press Award.
PERSONAL: Full name is Scarlet Isabelle Fetterolf…daughter of Andrew and Mary Beth Fetterolf…father served as an officer in the Marine Corps for seven years…mother competed in both track and cross country at Bucknell University…has four siblings (one brother, three sisters)…older sister, Ricky, is a 2026 graduate of the Air Force track & field and cross country programs…majoring in political science…earning a minor in French…future plans include becoming a pilot…named to the Dean’s List and Athletic Director’s List…serving as Flight Chief…earned Jump Wings in the summer of 2024…was a dancer from ages 5-14, and only stopped dancing to try out running…traveled to Dobbins Reserve Base in Georgia over the summer for Operation Air Force…got to ‘ramp surf’ a C-130 while on Ops…also served as the Athletics Officer for the Guts Squadron during Basic Cadet Training…member of Cadet Squadron 33.
