JUNIOR YEAR | 2021: All-region and all-conference honoree…Falcons’ No. 2 runner at the NCAA Mountain Regional, posting a 10K time of 30:17.4 to finish 19th out of 129 runners…also claimed the team’s No. 2 spot at the NCAA Championships, posting a career-best time of 30:07.4…clocked an 8K time of 23:39.5 to finish seventh at the Mountain West Championships, earning second-team all-MW status and helping the men to their second-straight team title…posted a career-best 8K of 23:38.1 to finish 21st out of 149 runners at the Bill Dellinger Invitational…added a 24:30.6 finish to place within the top half of the field at the Nuttycombe Invitational (100th)…opened the season with a four-mile time of 20:14.8 at the Air Force Open (fifth).
SOPHOMORE YEAR | 2020: Earned second-team all-conference honors after placing ninth at the Mountain West Championships…clocked an 8K time of 23:56.7 to help Air Force win the conference title…also counted in the team’s scoring lineup at the Silver State Collegiate Challenge (career-best 23:46.5, 21st) and NCAA Championships (10K debut 32:10.5, 148th).
FRESHMAN YEAR | 2019: Competed in three meets...made collegiate debut at the Air Force Open, clocking a four-mile time of 21:28.2 to finish 17th at the Air Force Open...helped Air Force to a fourth-place finish at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invitational...clocked an 8K time of 25:58.8 to finish 43rd out of 237 runners at that meet...posted a career-best time of 25:09.1 to earn a top-10 finish at the UCCS Open (10th of 127 runners).
MAJOR TRACK AND FIELD HIGHLIGHTS: Debuted at No. 9 on the program’s all-time standings in the mile with a 4:03.33 (adjusted for altitude) performance at the Colorado Invitational.
HIGH SCHOOL: Wheaton Warrensville High School...all-state selection...finished 13th at the 2018 Illinois High School State Cross Country Championships...member of the team that finished 13th at the Nike Cross Nationals/Midwest Regional...member of the state cross country championship team...earned academic all-state honors.
PERSONAL: Full name is Scott Alan Maison...son of Robert and Jennifer Maison...has a twin brother Sean, who is a junior on the Falcons’ cross country team...also has one older sister and one younger brother...majoring in management...future plans include becoming a pilot...hobbies include video games, hydration and playing Club Penguin...fan of Tasmanian devils...member of Cadet Squadron 12.
