Hope Gutierrez is from Lafayette La. She is a member of Cadet Squadron 25 and currently plans on majoring in political science. She started dancing at age five and started competing at seven. She competed in jazz, hip hop, lyrical and tap for River Dance Centre, along with taking ballet and technique classes. She was also a member of her high school, Lafayette High’s, dance team for two years, winning a national championship title for gameday in 2021. While in high school, she also ran cross country, track, and threw javelin.
