One of the most accomplished fencers in program history, 1st. Lt. Leanne Singleton-Comfort enters her fourth season as a volunteer assistant coach for Air Force fencing in 2023-24.
Singleton-Comfort recently completed her four years at the Academy, graduating with the class of 2020. During that time, she qualified for the NCAA's three times (four total, including one year at UC San Diego) and earned All-American honors three times. In addition, Singleton-Comfort is a two-time NCAA West Regional/Western Fencing Conference women's saber Champion (2017 and 2020).
In addition to her coaching duties, Singleton-Comfort will train at the Academy under the World Class Athlete Program (WCAP), where she is training to qualify for an spot on the United States Olympic team in hopes of competing at the 2024 Olympics.
