Before the Academy: Home schooled, attended Florida Gulf Coast University … made rank of Eagle Scout … made the dean’s list … came to the Academy for "free education in terms of finances, opportunity to fence NCAA, guaranteed career after college, and the opportunity to serve my country in the armed forces," said Moore … "Also the language and foreign travel opportunities at USAFA are among the best in the country" … volunteer activities include teaching fencing and sailing while in high school … worked on numerous service projects while in scouting … plans on volunteering at the Colorado Springs Wolf and Wildlife Center … attended the 2014 USAFA Summer fencing camp … started fencing in 2005.

Personal goals … in fencing, to get better and break bad habits; results will come with training … to develop better leadership skills and develop into an officer … to eventually work overseas, preferably in Asia and China … to become a military attaché later in my career … interests are: Martial Arts, volunteer work, airsoft, sailing, archery.
