2016-17 (Sophomore): Picked up five wins on the season ... four wins at Northwestern Invitational ... six in men's senior saber and seventh in mens junior saber at Nick Toth Open.
2015-2016 (Freshman): Freshman record is 24-30 ... his top Open finishes came in the Nick Toth Open ... tied for third in both the junior and senior men’s competitions ... was the junior mixed champion at the Amarillo Open and runnder up in senior mixed ... won the Falcon Open junior title ... finished ninth in the region with a 6-7 bout record ... finished 6-6 at the Western Invitational and 13-14 at the Northwestern Invitational.
Before the Academy: He attended George Walton High School in Marietta, GA, where he earned AP Scholar with distinction and was a member of the National Beta Club … in fencing; he placed third in Division II men’s foil at the 2014 National Championships.
Personal: Academically, he wants to make the dean’s list … his major is undecided … he would like to become an All-American in foil … enjoys basketball and skateboard.
Mentors: His mentor is Coach Walid Mahran … chose the Academy because he wanted to fence at the Academy and get a good education … inspired by his father to fence … Alexander, his brother, also fenced foil for Air Force and graduated in 2016.
Academy: Member of Cadet Squadron 09.
