JUNIOR | 2020-21: Swam the third-quickest times on the team in the 400 IM (3:57.17) and 200 fly (1:49.16) ... clocked personal season-best times in the 200 free (1:49.26), 500 free (4:42.76), 100 breaststroke (59.90), 200 breast (2:10.14), and 200 IM (1:51.30).
SOPHOMORE | 2019-20: Had the team’s second-fastest 400 IM time (3:55.28), which was the tenth-fastest in program history…Also third on the team in the 200 fly (1:48.24), also the tenth-quickest in AF history…Fourth-fastest 200 IM time on the team (1:50.06)…At the 2020 WAC Championships, placed seventh in both the 400 IM and 200 fly…Named to the Dean’s and AD’s lists.
FRESHMAN | 2018-19: Swam the third quickest 400 IM time on the team at the 2019 WAC Championships (3:55.87), which was good for sixth in the event…The time was the 10th-best in program history…Also had the fourth quickest 200 IM time (1:52.18) as well as the fourth fastest 200 fly (1:49.35)...Named to the Comms list in the spring.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Was a four year letterwinner for his high school while also swimming club for the North Texas Nadadores…Named a team captain his senior year…Was a four time state champion, as well as a 2018 All-American in the 100 fly, 100 breaststroke, 200 free relay, and 200 medley relay…Holds his high school’s record in the 100 breaststroke…For his club, was a Winter Junior National top-eight finisher in the 200 fly and 400 IM, while also reaching National Champion status in the 4x200 free relay…Named an Academic All-American…Also a member of the National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 37 where he is the Athletics NCO...Son of Christopher and Amy Davis…Has two older siblings, Blayne and Brooke…Majoring in management with plans of becoming a pilot…Nickname is Che...His greatest moments in sports are achieving his summer junior cut, as well as winning the 4x200 relay at Junior Nationals…His Grandfather, William Lee, served in the Air Force…Hobbies include watching the Dallas Mavericks, playing basketball and ultimate Frisbee, and hanging out with family and friends…Chose the Academy “To be a part of something bigger than myself and to serve my country.”
