2016-17: Finished the season with three top-7 times on the team … had the fifth fastest 1,000 freestyle (9:44.59), sixth fastest 1,650 freestyle (16:17.28) and seventh fastest 500 freestyle (4:45.16).

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Four year varsity winner in swimming… Academic All-American in swimming… member of the National Honor Society… set the 500 free record at Lamar high school… team captain his senior year… also an Eagle Scout… two time club team record holder.

PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 17…son of Richard and Donna Carson… father is a photographer and a university lecturer…mother is also a photographer…has one older sibling Jamison… hobbies include camping and hiking… major is undecided.
