Bree joined the Air Force Academy in 2019 serving as an athletic trainer for the men’s soccer team.
Prior to Air Force, she served as the athletic trainer for the University of New Mexico Lobos women’s volleyball and sand volleyball teams. Munoz also has experience working as an athletic trainer in the international setting, where she helped provide sports medicine services to NFL China, Concordia International High School, and underprivileged Chinese youth athletes through the Institute of Western Surgery. Prior to her international duties, Munoz was an athletic trainer with the Long Beach State women’s volleyball and sand volleyball teams as well as the track and field team. She has dedicated time to the Tier II WSHL Long Beach Bombers Hockey Club as well.
Munoz completed her undergraduate studies at California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and became BOC certified shortly after. She also earned her master’s degree in Sports Administration from the University of New Mexico while working as a graduate athletic trainer. Munoz brings a great deal of experience, knowledge, and creativity to the Falcon sports medicine staff. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Trainers Association, and the Far West Athletic Trainers Association.
Bree and her husband Sean met while enrolled at Long Beach State and now reside in Denver.
