2013-14: Simonton's freshman career record is 565 smallbore and 577 air rifle with a cumulative 1142 ... she finished with 1188.1 points and was ranked 47th among 77 in the women's events at the 2013 Winter Air Gun Championships in December 2013 ... she finished 27th among 60 in the juniors with 1188.1 points ... at the NJOCs, she placed 83rd with a two-day finals 789.3 in air rifle.

BEFORE THE ACADEMY: Simonton graduated from Northgate High School in Sharpsburg, Ga. ... earned two letters in gymnastics ... four in high school rifle ... competed at National JROTC Championships in Anniston, Ala., which consisted of two 3x20 courses for team and individual rankings ... in 2013, in the two-day Air Force Service Championship, she finished second overall in the Precision class while firing a 1,164 out of a possible 1,200 and added a 93.5 (out of 100) in the finals ... parents are Jay and Amy Simonton ... siblings are Kaitlin, Hannah and Bethany.
