2017-2018: Qualified for the 2018 USA Shooting Women’s National Championships, which were held in June ... finished 34th with a two-day total 1227.3 ... named rifle athlete of the week (Nov. 6, 2017) for the President’s Trophy Match ... led all shooters in the match with a 400/400 in air rifle ... finished with a 596 career best ... set a career high of 1174 in the match ... had a high 582 versus Navy, Akron and VMI last February.

BEFORE THE ACADEMY: Attended East Brunswick High School in New Jersey … parents are Cathy and John Sawicki ... she has three siblings … prior to the Academy, she practiced rifle at the Old Bridge Rifle Club in Old Bridge, N.J. … coaches were Jozsef Hodossy and John Sawicki … she had a high GPA in high school … started shooting in the eighth grade … attended the USAFA Prep School … was in “C” Squad … was lucky enough to train at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs while attending the prep school in 2016-2017.

ACADEMY: Member of Cadet Squadron 19 - Wolverines … she is a behavioral science major … named to athletic and commandant’s lists.
