FRESHMAN YEAR | 2024-25: NCAA Qualifier in the 100-Meter Dash… Mountain West champion as a member of the 4x100-meter relay…set the Academy Record in the 55-meter dash (6.41)…posted Air Force Top 10 times in both outdoor sprints…set Air Force Freshman Class Record in the 100-meter and 200-meter races…accounted for the third-fastest 100-meter time in Air Force history (10.41) during the finals of the Mountain West Outdoor Championships…first debuted on the program’s top 10 in the preliminary round (10.49, No. 9)…also scored for the Falcons in the 200-meter dash at the conference meet…clocked the sixth-fastest time in program history (20.94) to finish fifth…ran the second leg of the 4x100-meter relay that won the MW title…also ran on winning relays at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Invitational and Air Force Twilight Open…helped team to the second-fastest 4x1 in program history (39.57) at the Falcons’ home meet…named the MW Freshman of the Week after the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Invitational…finished second out of 66 runners in the 100-meter dash (wind-aided 10.46) and fourth out of 70 runners in the 200-meter dash (wind-aided 21.73) at that meet…also impacted the Air Force Record Book during the indoor season…clocked a 55-meter time of 6.41 in collegiate debut at the Wyoming Power Meet to break the program record…clocked a career-best 200-meter time of 21.49 at the Jarvis Scott Open, matching the 11th-fastest indoor time in Academy history…debuted at No. 22 on the program’s all-time standings in the 60-meter dash after clocking a 6.86 to win the UNM Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: Bellevue West High School…four-time Nebraska state champion…swept the 100-meter, 200-meter and 400-meter titles as a senior…ran on the winning 4x100-meter relay as a sophomore…also claimed two silver medals in the 400-meter dash and ran on the 4x100-meter relay that finished second in 2023…added additional top-10 finishes at the state meet in the 400-meter dash (seventh as a freshman) and 200-meter dash (sixth as a junior)…named the top male scholar-athlete in track by the Greater Omaha Sports Committee…two-time NCPA Academic All-State honoree…also competed in football…honorable mention all-state as a defensive end…named to the all-academic metro team…member of the National Honor Society…graduated with a 4.1 GPA.

PERSONAL: Full name is Asher Moore Jenkins…son of Kitt Jenkins and Naviere Walkewicz…has six siblings, including an older brother, Arden, who is a junior at the Academy and a thrower on the track and field team…majoring in management…future plans include becoming a pilot…hobbies include cars, movies, animals, food, and traveling…mother, father, aunt, uncle, and grandfather all served in the military…member of Cadet Squadron 09.
