HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Was a letterwinner for Health Careers High School, while also swimming club for the Race Club at the Rim…Holds her school’s records in the 50 free, 200 free relay, and 400 free…Placed first in both regionals and districts in the 50 free, while taking ninth in the state…Named an All-American…Also played water polo, where her team took fourth in the state…Was a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and Mu Alpha Theta.
PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 20…Daughter of Timothy and Joelle Kiniry…Has one sister, Kayla…Undecided on a major, but plans on either becoming a pilot or going into the medical field…She has a horse named John…Lists her greatest moments in sports as winning regionals and making it to state for the first time, as well as making it to the district finals with her water polo team…Her father, Timothy, is retired military…Chose the Academy “Because of the great opportunities and the great education that I would get while still being able to swim and serve my country.”
