2016-17: Finished the season with two top-10 times on the team … had the seventh fastest 200 breaststroke (2:38.98) and the ninth fastest 400 individual medley time (4:49.58).

2015-16: Swam the fourth fastest 100 breast stroke and 200 breast stroke on the team … Swam the fifth fastest 400 IM on the team.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Lettered two years in golf… MVP freshman and sophomore year… individually placed second at regionals… second place team finish at region 5A GHSA girls’ golf championship… swam club for Swim Atlanta… four years Georgia All Star swimming recognition… senior short/long course state finalist… SE sectionals qualifier… SE southern region open swim championship 400 IM winner.

PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 09… daughter of Marc Sims and Patricia Burney… her father served six years in the Army’s Green Beret 10th Division… majoring in biology…this past summer, completed Expeditionary Survival and Evasion Training and the Soaring program … on the superintendent’s list both semesters as a freshman … her mom and club coach, Chris Davis, have had the biggest influence on her sports career… she loves to read and her favorite book is The Count of Monte Cristo... her other hobbies include listening to music (anything but country), painting and playing golf with her dad on the weekends.
