JUNIOR | 2018-19: Earned Academic All-Mountain West honors…Had the second fastest time on the team in all three distance free events, the 500 (5:04.41), 1,000 (10:26.77), and 1650 (17:20.68)…Also had the fifth quickest team time in the 100 breaststroke (1:11.20) and the 100 fly (58.07)…Named to the Superintendents list both semesters.
SOPHOMORE | 2017-18: Earned Academic All-Mountain West honors…Recorded three top five program season times, including third in the 500 free (5:05.96) and 1650 free (17:27.37), as well as fourth in the 1,000 free (10:43.12)…Named to the Superintendents List.
FRESHMAN | 2016-17: Finished the season with five top-10 times on the team, including the fourth highest 500 freestyle time (5:06.29) … recorded the seventh fastest 100 breaststroke time (1:08.26) along with the eighth fastest 200 butterfly (2:09.45) … had the 10th fastest 200 freestyle time (1:58.06) and 100 butterfly (1:00.02) ... named to the Superintendents List her first and second semesters.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Earned four letters in swimming … Swam for the YMCA Wave Swim Team … class valedictorian … qualified for the state tournament three times … in club, qualified for the YMCA Short Course Nationals four times.
PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 33 where she is the Commander… parents are Joseph and Lori Linzmeyer … father served in the Army … majoring in economics … has one sister … greatest team moment in sports was the first time her relay team won the state title … credits her club coach as having the greatest influence on her sports career … great uncle, Tom Brown, was the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy at the University of Minnesota in 1960, played in the Canadian Football League, and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
