JUNIOR | 2021-22: Swam a season best 2:03.75 in the 200 back for the fifth fastest time by a Falcon on the season ... swam a season best 24.59 in the 50 free ... swam a season best 27.29 in the 50 back ... swam a season best 57.97 in the 100 back ... swam a season best 2:08.31 in the 200 IM.
SOPHOMORE | 2020-21: Named to both the Academic All-Mountain West team, as well as the Mountain West Scholar Athlete team… swam a season best 57.03 in the 100 backstroke for the third fastest time by a Falcon on the season ... swam a 2:02.77 in the 200 back for the fourth fastest time by a Falcon on the season ... swam a season best 2:10.07 in the 200 IM ... member of the free relay team to swim a 1:34.37 for the fastest relay team by the Falcons ... swam a season best 24.60 in the 500 free ... swam a season best 27.93 in the 50 back.
FRESHMAN | 2019-20: Named to both the Academic All-Mountain West team, as well as the Mountain West Scholar Athlete team…Had the fourth-fastest times on the team in both the 100 back (56.33) and 200 back (2:02.74) on the season…The 100 back time was the ninth-fastest in program history, while the 200 time was eighth-quickest…Named to the Dean’s, Comm’s, AD’s, and Supt’s lists.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Was a four-time state finalist for Ronald Regan High School in Texas, where she served as a team captain…She was named the team's most outstanding athlete, and is a school record holder in numerous events…Also succeeded nationally, as she was a USA Junior National Qualifier…Graduated Summa Cum Laude and was in the top five percent of her class…Was in both the National Honor Society, as well as Mu Alpha Theta, a mathematics honor society.
PERSONAL: Member of cadet squadron 17 …Daughter of Robert Burcham and Elizabeth Monnens-Marin…Has one sibling, Jacob…Majoring in systems engineering with a minor in German…Lists her greatest individual moment as when she won all four of her district finals events on the anniversary of her father’s death…Lists her Mom as having the greatest influence on her swimming career…Step-mother, Jennifer Monnens-Marin, served in the Army…Hobbies include sewing, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends…Chose the Academy because “The Academy offers endless opportunities both inside and outside of the pool.
