2020-21 | Junior: Went 1-1 with a win in a bonus match and a loss in a Big 12 dual against West Virginia…Win was via a 17-0 tech fall.
2019-20 | Sophomore: Tallied a 13-9 record over six tournaments wrestling at 165 lbs….Nine wins came via bonus points, including five techs and four falls…The five techs were tied for the most on the team…Fastest pin came in just 31 seconds, the fifth-fastest on the team…Placed second at the Cowboy Open and third at both the Western Colorado Open and Rocky Mountain Open.
2018-19 | Freshman: Posted a 10-6 record, including 1-0 in duals at 165 lbs.…Had two major decisions, three tech falls, and four pins…The three tech falls were tied for second-most on the team…Placed second at the Northern Colorado Open and third at the Cowboy Open…Dual win came via pin against Western Colorado in just 39 seconds.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Central Lee High School, but wrestled all four years for Fort Madison High School and head coach Ryan Smith…Ranked as a top-25 recruit by The Open Mat (19), Intermat (20), and WIN Magazine (22)…Placed at state championships all four years of high school, and won the 2018 state championship…Took second-place at the 2017 USAW Preseason Nationals, as well as second-place at the 2017 USAW Folkstyle Nationals…Also lettered three years in cross country and one year in track…Graduated in the top-five of his class with a 4.0 GPA…Was a member of the National Honor Society.
