2018-19 | Sophomore: Went 12-8, including 2-1 in duals and 1-0 in his Big 12 dual debut at 141 lbs….Had three tech falls and six pins…Six falls was tied for second-most on the team, including the quickest on the team in just 11 seconds…Three tech falls also tied for second-most…Placed third at the Rocky Mountain Open and fourth at the Cowboy Open…Defeated NCAA Championship qualifier Chris Sandoval in the dual at Northern Colorado.
2017-18 | Freshman: Recorded a 10-5 overall record with a 1-0 mark in dual action … led the team with seven falls … fastest fall was in 1:07 … registered one technical fall … third-place at the UNK-Holiday Inn Open (amateur) … first-place at the Rocky Mountain Collegiate Open … sixth-place at the Northern Colorado Open.
Personal: Member of cadet squadron 12 where he is the Athletics NCOIC...Son of Matthew and Veronica Petersen...Majoring in economics with a minor in Spanish...Hopes to enter the Space Force following graduation.
