Caitlin Broberg came to USAFA in August 2023 after spending two years as an assistant athletic trainer at Crown College in Minnesota. While there, she was the head athletic trainer for the football team. She also provided care for the men’s basketball, softball and volleyball teams. During her free time, Caitlin worked part time for the Minnesota Lynx professional women’s basketball team from 2017-23.
Before her experience in Minnesota, and in conjunction to completing her 2021 master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Caitlin was an athletic training student intern with the Air Force Academy’s basketball programs for the 2020-21 season. Prior to that, in 2019, she received a bachelor’s degree in health sciences with an emphasis in athletic training, likewise from Wisconsin-Stevens Point. She was also a four-year member of the women’s basketball team at UW-Stevens Point during her undergraduate years. Caitlin also holds a strength and conditioning specialist certification (CSCS) from the NSCA and a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) certification.
Currently, Caitlin resides in Colorado Springs. In her free time, she enjoys anything outdoors such as running, hiking, biking, and waterskiing. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.
