Capt Daniel “Squeeze” Logan is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Air Force boxing team. In addition to his coaching duties with the Falcons, he also serves as a physical education instructor for a variety of sports and is the Chief of Cadet Grading for the athletic department.
Logan began his Air Force career in 2008, as an enlisted Airman with the 32nd Combat Communications Squadron at Tinker AFB in Oklahoma. He deployed to Ali Base, Iraq, in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom before earning his commission through Officer Training School. Since then, he has served in a variety of cyberspace operations roles at the squadron, major command, and numbered Air Force levels. Most recently, he was the Flight Commander for Cyber Future Initiatives at the 33rd Cyberspace Operations Squadron, Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, where he led the modernization efforts for the Air Force’s Cyber Defense weapon systems.
A veteran of the ring, Logan was the team captain of the All-Air Force boxing team from 2011-13. Over his career, he competed in more than 70 USA Boxing amateur bouts nationwide – highlighted by becoming the 165-pound Kansas/Oklahoma Golden Gloves champion in 2013 and the runner-up finisher at the San Antonio Golden Gloves Tournament in 2012, while making appearances at the USA Nationals and Armed Forces Boxing Championships.
Logan came to Colorado with his wife, Brittany, and three sons, Maverick, Maxwell and Memphis.
