Emma Cahillane joined the Air Force athletics staff in June 2024 as the Assistant Director of Marketing and was elevated to Director of Marketing in November 2024. In her current role, she oversees all marketing initiatives and game presentation for ice hockey, women’s basketball, wrestling, and special events as well as serving as the secondary football contact and on-field lead.
Prior to arriving at Air Force, she spent one season at Sacred Heart University as an Assistant Director of Fan Engagement, acting as the marketing contact and game producer for football, men’s and women’s ice hockey, and men’s and women’s basketball. She contributed to creating strategy and implementing new and run-of-show procedures at the new hockey arena, as well as advising on game presentation elements for the new basketball arena during its construction.
Before Sacred Heart, Cahillane spent the 2022-23 academic year at Duke University in a one-year Sports Marketing Associate role overseeing field hockey, wrestling, and men’s lacrosse; including primary oversight of the Duke-hosted ACC Field Hockey Tournament and NCAA Fencing Championships, and the men’s lacrosse national championship run. She also assisted in executing promotional efforts for all home football and men’s basketball games and acted as the DJ at women’s basketball. In addition to her role at Duke, she held a part-time community engagement position with the Carolina Hurricanes.
A 2022 graduate of the University of Minnesota, Cahillane earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, along with minors in Leadership, and Health & Wellness Promotion. While in undergrad, she worked as a Gopher Sports Marketing intern and was part of the Minnesota Wild’s fan engagement team, executing game day responsibilities and community events.
Originally from Summit, New Jersey, she currently lives in Colorado Springs with two cats and a corgi.
