Jason Bushie joined the Air Force athletic training staff in October of 2022. He is currently responsible for the health and well being of the men’s gymnastics team.
Bushie came to the Academy after 15 years of employment at Colorado College, working primarily as the men’s ice hockey athletic trainer. He also provided care to several of the school’s other D-III programs and performed administrative duties as well. Prior to CC, Bushie was employed at MSU-Mankato working men’s ice hockey and baseball.
Bushie earned his master of arts degree in athletic administration from Minnesota State – Mankato. Before that, he received his bachelor of science degree in athletic training from the University of North Dakota. He is credentialed as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) by the NASM, is a member of the NATA, RMATA, and CATA, and holds ITAT credentialing from Impact, a concussion management organization.
Bushie resides in Colorado Springs with his wife Beth and daughter Ella; and, he enjoys spending time with family, friends, and fly fishing the great Colorado outdoors.
