Jeffrey Trudo joined the Academy’s athletic training staff in 2020 to serve the men’s and women’s track & field and cross-country teams.
Trudo made the move to USAFA after serving as a Mountain Lion at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. His primary duties were the healthcare and well-being of the men’s and women’s basketball teams, while also assisting the track & field programs.
Trudo completed his bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Florida State University in 2016. He went on to earn his master’s degree in education from Northern Arizona University in 2018, while serving as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for their track & field and cross-country programs.
Prior to his professional career, Trudo served honorably as an infantry assaultman in the U.S. Marine Corps, completing two tours to Helmand Providence, Afghanistan, while also playing for the Camp Lejeune Misfits Rugby team and the All-Marine Rugby team.
He now resides in Colorado Springs with his lovely wife Katie.
