Kathryn Olson joined the Academy staff in August 2022 and works with the women's basketball program. Kathryn came to USAFA from Greeley where she worked as the head football athletic trainer at the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to UNC, she spent three years at the University of Wyoming in Laramie.
Kathryn completed undergraduate degrees in Athletic Training and Exercise Science from the University of Northern Colorado, as well as a Master's degree in Health and Human Performance from the University of Montana in Missoula.
Kathryn was born and raised in London, England. Prior to starting her athletic training career, she competed full time for her family’s equestrian business and is a world champion rider. She lives in Colorado Springs with her husband, Jesse, and their dog, Eliza.
