Kim Pinske began coaching at the Air Force Academy in August of 2007 and currently works with the Women’s Basketball and Men’s and Women’s Diving teams. Pinske earned her B.S. in Sport and Recreation Management in 2003 from the University of Minnesota and her M.S. in Health, Nutrition and Exercise Science in 2007 from North Dakota State University. While an undergrad, she was a defensive specialist/libero for the volleyball team where she was chosen as a two-time captain, four-time academic All-Conference selection, and was named an NSCA All-American.
While at NDSU, she served as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant under Jim Kramer and in 2005 was promoted into the role of Associate Director for Athletic Performance. Pinske is RSCC*E and TSAC-F certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, 200 hour RYT certified, Sport Performance Coach certified by USA Weightlifting (USAW), and serves as a USAW referee.
Pinske earned a commission from the United States Army Officer Candidate School at Ft. Benning, GA and currently serves in the United States Army Reserve as a Military Police Officer.
Pinske, originally from Gary, MN, resides in Colorado Springs with her husband Marco and their son Maximus.
