Maj Travis Dekker is a USAFA graduate (2008) and former football player returning home as an orthopedic surgeon. After leaving the Air Force Academy, he began his academic training at Georgetown University for medical school followed by completing his orthopedic residency at Duke University. He has a subspecialty in Orthopedic Sports medicine completing his fellowship at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, CO. He has spent the last three years at Eglin Air Force Base as the head special forces physician for the 7th Special Forces Group and Hurlburt operators where he and his team received and Army Commendation Medal for their outcomes and efforts. He is eager to care for patients of all ages with sports pathologies to keep people active, healthy, and moving. He looks forward to growing both his family and practice in Colorado Springs-
