Falcons Beat Stetson 72-43 With Array Of Three-Pointers

AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - Air Force hit 15 shots from 3-point range and had four players in double figures as the Falcons defeated Stetson 72-43 on Tuesday.
Air Force (1-1) fell one short of its school record for 3-pointers.
Tim Keller hit four of eight 3-pointers and led Air Force with a career-high 18 points. A.J. Kuhle and Joel Gerlach each had 11 points and Vernard Jenkins had 10.
Air Force jumped to an 8-0 lead and led 41-16 at the half. The Falcons were 11-of-19 3-point attempts in the first half, including three by Kuhle and two each by Gerlach, Jenkins and Keller.
Mark Stiles led Stetson (0-2) with 16 points. Ravii Givens had 10.
Air Force took a 63-28 lead with 9:42 to play in the second half and then began substituting liberally.
Air Force blocked eight shots, four by Gerlach. Gerlach also had three steals.
