Four Fencers to Compete in the NAC Junior Competition

Four freshmen will travel to Greenville, S.C. to compete in the North American Cup junior competition Nov. 8-11. C4Cs Tim French, Jackson Ranes, Nick Mosca and Caitlin Harris will compete this weekend.
French from Austin, Texas and Ranes (Las Vegas, Nev.) compete in the men's epee. Mosca from Oklahoma City competes men's foil, while Harris from San Antonio, Texas is a women's epee competitor.
In September, French was the Falcons' top finisher in the Junior World Cup "A". Ranes took fifth place and Mosca finished 14th among 61 competitors. Ranes and Mosca both finished second in the Nick Toth Open and French tied for third place. Harris finished 24th in the in the 47-competitor mixed epee event.
Following the NAC Juniors, the Falcons will host the Falcon Open on Nov. 16 and the Junior Olympic Qualifiers on Nov. 17.
