AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AP) - A.J. Kuhle scored 16 points and added a career-high seven assists and Air Force committed only five turnovers in a 56-43 victory over Navy on Saturday.
Tim Keller added 12 points for Air Force (8-4).
The Falcons entered the game leading the nation in 3-point percentage (46.4) but hit only 5-of-19 Saturday.
They compensated by hitting 16 of 25 layups. "You can't live and die by the three," said Antoine Hood, who finished with eight points.
Mitch Moore had 12 points off the bench for Navy (4-9).
The Falcons' five turnovers tied a school low. Navy had 15.
Air Force has the fourth-best scoring defense in the nation and has given up 45 or fewer points in its past three games.
Air Force's Varnard Jenkins left the game with a separated shoulder after five minutes. He is expected to miss Monday's game against Savannah State and is questionable for the San Diego State game Saturday.
