The Air Force Academy athletic department finalized a deal to add a seventh home game to the 2004 schedule today. Air Force has moved its Sept. 18 game at Wake Forest to Sept. 6, 2008 and replaced the game with Eastern Washington in Falcon Stadium.
The Falcons will open the 2004 season at home against Pacific 10 conference member California on Sept. 4. The team also hosts Navy on Oct. 2. Other home games include San Diego State, Brigham Young, Colorado State and New Mexico. The team plays at Army Nov. 6 and other away games include Wyoming, Utah and UNLV. The team's complete schedule with dates will not be released by the Mountain West Conference office until later this month.
Air Force season tickets are available for $135 beginning March 1 and include the seventh game for free. "We're very excited to bring a seventh home game to Falcon Stadium for our fans," said Brad DeAustin, acting director of athletics. "Our season tickets packages make Air Force football games a very affordable option for people along the front range. We think Air Force football is one of the best values in collegiate athletics."
