Air Force Falls To UNLV, 2-0

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The Air Force women's soccer team dropped a 2-0 match to UNLV on Friday night at Peter Johann Memorial Stadium. The loss drops the Falcons to 2-13-2, 0-6-0 while the Rebels improved to 9-3-5, 4-0-1.
UNLV went ahead in the 66th minute on a penalty kick by Katie Carney. Amanda Forrester scored the Rebels second goal in the 71st minute.
Air Force had six shots in the match. Corbin Sanford and Katherine Slogic both had two shots for the Falcons and Erin Wallace recorded five saves in goal.
The Falcons conclude their season on Nov. 3 at New Mexico.
