Air Force Falls to Middle Tennessee State, 5-2

Despite singles victories by senior Kelly Morgan and junior Lauren Wilson, the Air Force women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to Middle Tennessee State Saturday in Lubbock, Texas. With the loss, the Falcons are 5-5 this season.
The Falcons dropped the doubles point with losses at the top two spots. Morgan and fellow senior Karissa Walker combined to win the No. 3 match, 8-3, over Pooja Kommireddi and Stephanie Parkison.
Wilson won the No. 2 singles match, rallying to defeat Ann-Kristin Siljestrom, 2-6, 6-4, 7-5. Morgan followed suit with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Claudia Szabo at the No. 5 spot.
The Falcons return to action on Sunday, Feb. 25 with a match against Texas Tech in Lubbock, beginning at 10 a.m.
