Greg Stine to Miss 2007 Winter Cup Challenge

USAF ACADEMY, Colo. - Air Force junior gymnast Greg Stine (Houston, Texas) will miss the 2007 Winter Cup Challenge, scheduled for this weekend in Las Vegas, Nev. Stine is still recuperating from an injury sustained at the season-opening Rocky Mountain Open.

Stine was the second all-around competitor from Air Force to be invited to the Winter Cup Challenge in the past three years, as former Falcon Jeff Andersen participated at the 2004 meet. In addition, All-American Joel Miller qualified to compete at the 1992 challenge on the still rings.

He is expected to return to the Falcons' rotation during their next competition - the annual Service Academy Classic in San Francisco, Calif., on Feb. 17.
